Phra Kring Praphamontol amulet

The Phra Kring Praphamontol amulet by Luang Phor Kuen, Wat Don Yannawa, 2536 BE (1993 AD), also known as the "Lightning Strike" Phra Kring, was created by the Luang Phor Kuen Foundation in 2536 BE (1993 AD). It comes with a box. The consecration ceremony was held at Wat Suthat Thep Wararam. The Phra Kring Fah Pha ( Lightning Strike Phra Kring) or Phra Kring Nirantrai (Invincible Phra Kring) by Luang Phor Kuen of Wat Don Yannawa was made using the ancient casting method and contains a bell inside, similar to the 'Phra Kring Wat Suthat'. The metal is a gold alloy, with a yellowish-brown hue; those with a greenish tint are rare. The Buddha image is identical in every respect: The Buddha is seated in the Maravijaya posture, in the diamond lotus position, on a seven-petaled lotus pedestal in the style of a Chinese lotus. The left hand holds a holy water pot. A divine cloth sits on the lap, and a circular Praphamontol (halo) is visible behind the head, adorned with raised beads. The back of the Praphamontol is flat. The hair is styled in a spiky pattern. The forehead displays an urna (a mark of iridescence), which can be either raised like fish eggs or deeply inscribed with a chisel. The face is rather long and oval, resembling a quince fruit. The eyes are of the fleshy type.
